The Hinchinbrook Birdlife Art Awards is a vibrant annual event that celebrates the beauty of birds through art. Open to artists of all levels nationwide, the awards showcase creative works inspired by the rich birdlife of the Hinchinbrook Shire.

Before you get started, take a moment to read through the Conditions of Entry and complete the Entry Form. Your artwork should feature birds from our approved list—we can’t wait to see how you bring them to life in your unique style.
When delivering your work to the gallery, be sure it has a label attached and is ready to hang with secure fittings (like D-rings) so we can display it beautifully and safely.

Artwork Delivery: Friday 18 July to Friday 25 July 2025, 10.00am – 4.00pm daily
Opening Night: 6.00pm Friday 1 August 2025
Exhibition on General Display: Saturday 2 August to Saturday 30 August 2025, 10.00am – 4.00pm daily
Artwork Collection: Monday 1 September to Sunday 7 September 2025, 10.00am – 4.00pm daily
